Yes, the demo database sucked for the examples they used in the UDV and this does not cover all of the features, nor are the release notes in the help portal yet. There are tons of unanswered questions such as will ASK AI use the Basic (free) or require the Premium AI subscription.

    Unofficial Answer:

    1. Update SSL for SAP Business One Web Client

SAP provides dedicated script files for Web Client certificate replacement.

    For Windows:

    1. Download the Https_certificate_replace.ps1 script from SAP.
    2. Place the script file into your Web Client installation folder (Default: C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One Web Client).
    3. Run Windows PowerShell as an Administrator and execute the commands:
cd "C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One Web Client"
    ./Https_certificate_replace.ps1

    Use code with caution.

    1. Enter the full path of your new certificate file (such as a .pfx or .p12 file) and provide the certificate password when prompted.
    2. Wait for the Web Client to restart and apply the new certificate

It has been a while since I was a VAR, but I have attached a template we used as a starting point for creating customer specific training on resources.

March 19, 2026 at 12:45 pm in reply to: SAP Partner Summit for the Americas

It was great spending time with partners, solution providers and the SAP team in Vegas. I believe SAP provided clear messaging that:

    • This
is the year of the web client.
    • SAP
is making considerable and ongoing investment in SAP Business One.
    • Specific
marketing messages will increase awareness of SAP Business One in the
      marketplace.
    • Increasing
net new names is the strategic initiative for SAP Business
      One and its partners.

I have added the latest Product Roadmap to the files section of this group which outlines all the latest features and planned investments. SAP executives discussed the hundreds of additional developers brought on to further enhance the web client and architectural components. The product executives discussed the importance of keeping up with the latest versions to keep your system secure and get the benefits of their quarterly release schedule.

When we saw Day 1 evening activities were “on own,” we quickly reached out to the SAP Business One executive team for permission to throw an event. One of our core values is, “creating safe spaces for collaboration.” Among the many reasons to get social include:

    • Network with SAP Business One executives and staff.
    • Discover how partners are working with the web client.
    • Explore potential opportunities for web client extensions.
    • Exchange insights on artificial intelligence, Agentic AI and future technology.
    • Consider how cloud platforms are powering digital transformation.
    • Develop meaningful relationships with fellow partners to enable collaboration.
    • Have some fun with your colleagues!

    B1 Community Social

The B1 Community has reserved level 1.5 of The Chandelier from 6:00 – 8:00 PM SAP employees, partners, developers or independent consultants who are in Las Vegas during the summit and represent SAP Business One. Check in at the hostess desk on Level 2 after reserving your spot.

Reserve a Spot – Less than 10 spaces remain!

Thanks to our sponsors: AttivoERP, Cloud4Partners, ERPure.ai, Tipalti, and Traild!

  • This is good news. I have the feeling it is also related to my version of Windows. Took a break for the holidays but working on it again next week!

October 22, 2025 at 5:39 pm in reply to: BizOneness: Production in the SAP B1 Web client..again

I was hoping to come up with some quick work arounds. For example, if you could filter inventory items by BOM Type and not equal Null you could get all the BOMS by parent item. Unfortunately, that field is not available for the filter adaptation. I know that enhancements are expected in 2602 and forward.I would suggest looking on the customer influence page and if not there make suggestions here. SAP definitely reviews this information.

I would suggest some of the extensibility options if I did not believe that it would be a waste of effort as SAP will address these concerns within the next year.
