My name is Gary Feldman, one of the founders of the B1 Community. This discussion post is here for you to introduce yourself and tell us a little of why you joined or what you would like to get out of being a member of our organization. I have personally benefitted from years or collaboration in similar ERP focused groups and general industry communities.

SAP has made the conscious decision for SAP Business One to be a channel driven organization. The channel partners are responsible for end customer marketing, sales and communication. When compared to other mid-market ERP products, this approach created a void in communication outside of annual partner conferences. Since the COVID pandemic there has also been no organized user group.

B1 Community, Inc. is an independent non-profit organization created to raise awareness of SAP Business One in the general market, provide access to resources, and create a safe space for collaboration.

• Many organizations think SAP is only for the large enterprise.
• Consultants often need solutions but are not going to post support questions in public forums.
• New solution providers need a way to get the word out about their products and services.
• Customers often want peer to peer dialogue.
